OutVote Fellowship Program

The OutVote Fellowship is a paid opportunity for young leaders to bring civic engagement into their communities. Fellows receive education, practical tools, a community of peers, and funding to support their local organizing.

The 2026 cohort is hard at work this election cycle

Our 2026 Fellows live and vote in key districts where LGBTQ+ young people are primed for meaningful civic impact: Iowa City, Iowa; Lansing, Michigan; and Asheville, North Carolina. The program is designed to support ten fellows per district. Applications for this cohort are closed.

Training

The OutVote Institute equips Fellows with skills in peer organizing, voter registration, and advocacy — with equity at the center of every training.

Community

A community of fellow leaders working to strengthen LGBTQ+ civic engagement.

Funding

A $1,500 stipend and a $500 resource fund to support local organizing.
